Q6 / 104 · NTA Abhyas (JEE Main) 2020 · Mathematics · Indefinite Integration

The value of the integral Ι=∫exsin⁡x+cos⁡xdx is equal to  ex⋅fx+C, C being the constant of integration. Then the maximum value of y=fx2, ∀x∈R is equal to

  • A
    0
  • B
    -1
  • Correct answer
    C
    1
  • D
    12

Solution

As we know,

∫exfx+f'xdx=ex⋅fx+C
Thus, ∫exsin⁡x+cos⁡xdx=ex⋅sin⁡x+C
i.e. fx=sin⁡x
Hence, fx2=sinx2: which has the maximum value of ‘1’

Hence, the correct answer is option: 'C'.
