Mathematics - Statistics

Practise 120 AP EAMCET previous year questions on Statistics, compiled from papers spanning 2009 to 2025. Each question is pulled directly from the actual exam paper it appeared in, so you're practising in the exact style and difficulty AP EAMCET tests.

Statistics has been asked in 13 of the 24 years of AP EAMCET papers analysed (2001–2024), with 120 questions in all. 60% of them were easy, 35% moderate and 5% tough. Most of its questions came from 2021, with 17 questions that year. In the last three years (2022–2024) it had 29 questions across 28 papers, about 1 per paper.

The chapter's 7 topics are not weighted equally: Measures of Dispersion (70 questions, 58%), Relation Between Variance and Mean Deviation (16 questions, 13%), and Mean (13 questions, 11%) have been asked the most. Measures of Dispersion has also led over the last five years, with 30 questions. Measures of Dispersion has produced the most tough questions (4).

This chapter includes 120 questions compiled from AP EAMCET papers spanning 2009 to 2025.

2.Are these questions only from AP EAMCET, or from other exams too?

These are AP EAMCET questions specifically for the Statistics chapter. Questions from other exams like JEE Main or NTA Abhyas (JEE Main) are organised separately under their respective exam sections.

3.Is Statistics an important chapter for AP EAMCET Mathematics?

Statistics has appeared in 14 of the 25 years of AP EAMCET papers covered here, with 120 questions across 81 papers - about one per paper it appears in.

4.What is the difficulty level of Statistics questions in AP EAMCET?

Of the 120 questions analysed for this chapter, 60% are easy, 35% moderate and 5% tough. 2021 had the most, with 17 questions.

5.Which topics in Statistics should I focus on?

These topics have carried the most weightage in Statistics:
