What will be current through the $200 \Omega$
resistor in the given circuit, a long time after the switch $K$ is made on?

- AZero
- B$100 \mathrm{mA}$
- Correct answerC$10 \mathrm{mA}$
- D$1 \mathrm{mA}$
Solution
In steady state, arm having capacitors does not flow current. So, we can neglect them.
$\therefore$ The given circuit reduces to
$$
R_{\text {net }}=200+400=600 \Omega
$$
$\therefore$ Current in circuit,
$$
\begin{aligned}
I=\frac{V}{R} &=\frac{6}{600}=0.01 \mathrm{A} \\
&=10 \mathrm{mA}
\end{aligned}
$$
$$
R_{\text {net }}=200+400=600 \Omega
$$
$\therefore$ Current in circuit,
$$
\begin{aligned}
I=\frac{V}{R} &=\frac{6}{600}=0.01 \mathrm{A} \\
&=10 \mathrm{mA}
\end{aligned}
$$Hence, the correct answer is option: 'C'.
