Solution

We have, $t_{2} = - t_{1} - \frac{2}{t_{1}}$

Since $a = 2, t_{1} = 1$
$∴ t_{2} = - 3$
Hence, the other end will be $(a t_{2}^{2}, 2 a t_{2})$ i.e. $(18, - 12) .$

Hence, the correct answer is option: 'D'.
