Solution

Let us take the equivalent circuit one by one.

$∴ C_{e q} = \frac{C \times \frac{7}{3}}{C + \frac{7}{3}}$ = 0.5 $\Rightarrow \frac{7}{3} C = \frac{C}{2} + \frac{7}{6}$

$\Rightarrow \frac{11}{6} C = \frac{7}{6} \Rightarrow C = \frac{7}{11} μ F$

Hence, the correct answer is option: 'C'.
