Solution

Force due to magnetic field on a current carrying conductor is given by, $\vec{F} = i \vec{l} \times \vec{B}$ .
The angle between the magnetic field and the direction of the current in the wire $C D$ is $60 °$ . Therefore,
$F = i l B \sin 60 ° \Rightarrow F = 10 \times 0.05 \times 0.5 \times \frac{\sqrt{3}}{2} \Rightarrow F = 0.216 N$

Hence, the correct answer is option: 'C'.
