According to the question, velocity is increasing at $5 m s^{- 1}$ . Therefore, $\frac{d v}{d s} = 5 s^{- 1}$ .

$\Rightarrow a = v \frac{d v}{d s} = 20 \times 5 = 100 m s^{- 2}$
